Strategy & Operations Senior Manager

Location: United States (Remote); fully remote with the team distributed across the US.

What you will do

• Own a domain of company performance, including diagnosis, roadmap, realized value, and the executive relationship.
• Frame ambiguous business problems into structured, decision-ready agendas and lead priority setting across functions.
• Set analytical standards and arbitrate contested numbers with Finance and the executive team.
• Build management rhythms, operating standards, documentation, and systems that outlast individual projects.
• Manage and develop a team of three to four people, including Managers, while owning hiring and team operating model development.
• Translate frontline operational needs into Product, Data Engineering, and AI roadmap requirements; evaluate AI investments against measurable business cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7–9 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, product development, or a combination.
• Experience owning enterprise-level, cross-functional programs with measurable business outcomes.
• Experience managing and developing teams, including Managers or independent workstream leads.
• Strong analytical and technical fluency, including comfort with data, platforms, automation, and agentic AI tools such as Claude or Claude Code.
• Executive presence, business judgment, and the ability to operate as a hands-on player-coach in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Strategy or platform initiative experience in a product organization, product strategy, product operations, or S&O function.
• Technical background, including a computer science or engineering degree or early-career building experience.
• Consulting foundation, including MBB or equivalent experience combined with operating or product work.
• MBA or comparable achievement signal.
• Experience in healthcare, logistics, transportation, marketplaces, or regulated operating environments.
