TL;DR
Process Development Engineer (Supply Chain): Designing and scaling global fulfillment processes across Configuration and Logistics Centers with an accent on lean operations, process standardization, and ERP/WMS/MPS integration. Focus on analyzing root causes, leading continuous improvement and automation projects, and building robust workflows for multi-site logistics and 3PL operations.

Location: Lund, Sweden; international travel of approximately 10–20 days per year

What you will do

  • Map current fulfillment processes and design efficient future-state workflows across global Configuration and Logistics Centers.
  • Establish global standards for inbound operations, picking, packaging, kitting/configuration, and inventory control.
  • Lead continuous improvement and automation projects to increase capacity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Translate operational needs into ERP, WMS, and MPS system requirements in collaboration with IT and system owners.
  • Analyze performance metrics and recurring bottlenecks using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
  • Create SOPs, process maps, and training frameworks while collaborating with Quality, Sourcing, Logistics Planning, IT, and external 3PL partners.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of documented experience in process development, logistics engineering, or continuous improvement within supply chain or warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP, WMS, and MPS systems; familiarity with IFS or modern ERP solutions is advantageous.
  • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Experience with outsourced 3PL operations or global multi-site fulfillment networks.
  • Professional fluency in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
