Patient Access Liaison (Portland, OR)

Location: Field based in Portland, OR or Boise, ID, United States; candidates must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory borders and travel 50% or more by air and car.

Base salary: $180,000–$200,000 USD per annum, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Support healthcare sites with REMS certification, patient enrollment, and operational readiness for therapy delivery.
• Provide compliant education on coverage, coding, benefit investigations, prior authorizations, appeals, affordability programs, and reimbursement processes.
• Educate stakeholders on case management and coordinate treatment logistics across REMS requirements, HUBs, specialty pharmacies, distribution partners, and support networks.
• Identify and resolve patient access barriers through approved buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, HUB, and other support pathways.
• Maintain account plans, stakeholder relationships, compliant CRM documentation, and timely reporting of field insights.
• Collaborate with Sales and Site of Care Account Leads while maintaining non-promotional role boundaries.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in field reimbursement, patient access, and case management within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or specialty healthcare environments.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy programs, patient support services, coverage, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, and affordability programs.
• Experience supporting patient progression from referral through treatment initiation and resolving access barriers.
• Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license required.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory borders and be willing to travel 50% or more.
• Applicants must already have employment rights in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
