Patient Access Liaison (Phoenix, AZ)

Location: Field-based in Phoenix or Tucson, Arizona; candidates must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory borders and travel 50% or more by air and car.

Base salary: $180,000–$200,000 USD per annum, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Support healthcare sites with REMS certification, enrollment, and operational readiness for treatment delivery.
• Educate site and office personnel on coverage, coding, reimbursement, benefit investigations, prior authorizations, appeals, and affordability programs.
• Guide compliant case management for consented patients and help resolve case-level access barriers through approved buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, HUB, and support pathways.
• Coordinate treatment logistics and scheduling across REMS requirements, specialty pharmacies, distribution partners, and external support networks.
• Develop account-level business plans, maintain stakeholder relationships, and communicate field insights to matrix partners.
• Document account activities, case interactions, and resolution outcomes accurately in the CRM while maintaining non-promotional role boundaries.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in field reimbursement, patient access, and case management within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or specialty healthcare environments.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy programs, patient support services, coverage, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, affordability programs, and compliant access resources.
• Experience supporting patient progression from referral through treatment initiation and partnering with treatment sites on workflow and access needs.
• Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license required.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory borders and be able to travel 50% or more within the assigned geography.
