Patient Access Liaison (Chicago, IL)

Location: Field-based in Chicago, IL or Milwaukee, WI, United States. Must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory border and travel 50% or more by air and car.

Base salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Support healthcare sites with REMS certification, patient enrollment, and operational readiness for therapy delivery.
• Provide compliant education on coverage, coding, payment, reimbursement, benefit investigations, prior authorizations, appeals, and affordability programs.
• Educate stakeholders on case management and treatment logistics across HUBs, specialty pharmacies, distribution partners, and external support networks.
• Identify and troubleshoot patient access barriers through approved buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, HUB, and support pathways.
• Develop account business plans, maintain stakeholder relationships, and coordinate referrals and handoffs with Sales and Site of Care Account Leads.
• Document account activities, case interactions, and resolution outcomes accurately in the CRM while maintaining non-promotional boundaries.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in field reimbursement, patient access, and case management within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or specialty healthcare environments.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy programs, patient support services, coverage, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, affordability programs, and compliant access resources.
• Experience supporting patient progression from referral through treatment initiation and partnering with treatment sites on workflows and readiness.
• Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license required.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory border and be willing to travel 50% or more.
