Patient Access Liaison (Austin, TX)

Location: Field-based in Austin or San Antonio, Texas; candidates must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory borders and travel 50% or more by air and car.

Base salary: $180,000–$200,000 USD annually, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Support healthcare sites with REMS certification and patient enrollment processes.
• Enable site access readiness and strengthen relationships with treatment sites and stakeholders.
• Educate site and office personnel on coverage, coding, reimbursement, benefit investigations, prior authorizations, appeals, and affordability programs.
• Resolve case-level access barriers through approved buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, HUB, and other support pathways.
• Coordinate treatment logistics and scheduling across REMS, HUB, specialty pharmacy, distribution, and external support networks.
• Maintain compliant CRM documentation, execute account business plans, and share field insights with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in field reimbursement, patient access, and case management within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or specialty healthcare settings.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy programs, patient support services, coverage, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, and affordability programs.
• Experience supporting patient progression from referral through treatment initiation and resolving access barriers.
• Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the assigned territory borders and be able to travel 50% or more within the assigned geography.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must already have employment rights in the country of application.
