Patient Liaison - Internal Medicine Full Time Days

Location: 259 E. Erie, Chicago, IL, United States; onsite, day shift

Salary: $20.91–$28.23 per hour

What you will do

• Manage provider, room, equipment, and clinic schedules to optimize practice resources.
• Register patients and schedule or coordinate appointments and alternative care options.
• Communicate with patients and clinical staff about treatment plans, testing, prescriptions, and follow-up care.
• Support billing accuracy by resolving errors and denials and obtaining pre-certifications or referrals.
• Collect and analyze data related to physician productivity and resource utilization.
• Provide patient education and maintain relationships with patients, providers, staff, hospital departments, physician offices, and vendors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years of previous healthcare experience.
• Experience in a customer service role.
• Ability to work onsite in Chicago during the day shift.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with an electronic medical record system.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
