Patient Liaison - Medical Specialties Full-time Days

Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL, United States; onsite, full-time day shift.

Salary: $20.91–$28.23 per hour.

What you will do

• Manage provider, room, equipment, and patient schedules to optimize practice resources.
• Maintain clinic templates and coordinate care alternatives when schedules change.
• Register patients, schedule appointments, and provide information and education.
• Follow up with patients and clinical staff regarding treatment plans, testing, prescriptions, and care compliance.
• Support billing error and denial resolution, including pre-certifications and referrals.
• Build relationships with patients, providers, staff, hospital departments, physician offices, and vendors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of previous healthcare experience.
• Experience in a customer service role.
• Ability to support patient coordination and practice operations in an onsite healthcare setting.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with an electronic medical record system.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
