Sales Specialist Trauma & Extremities (Orthopedics): Driving sales of orthopaedic trauma and extremities products across secondary-care accounts in the London North & East England region with an accent on territory planning, customer relationships, and clinical product expertise. Focus on identifying surgical technology opportunities, influencing customer adoption, analyzing account strategies, and developing key opinion leader relationships.

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom; responsibility for Mid and South Essex, East Hertfordshire and Greater London, with 80% travel

What you will do

  • Achieve agreed sales objectives and targets across the assigned territory.
  • Promote trauma and extremities products to secondary-care customers and stakeholders.
  • Build territory business plans, identify high-value opportunities, develop new business and support adoption of new technologies.
  • Manage customer accounts and strengthen relationships between the business and healthcare providers.
  • Present brand value propositions and customer solutions to influence buying behaviour in surgical environments.
  • Analyze account strategies and performance, and collaborate with sales, marketing, education and commercial teams.

Requirements

  • Proven sales track record with strong influencing, business partnering and consultative selling skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient English is required.
  • Ability to maintain clinical expertise in procedures and product knowledge.
  • Experience in medical devices, orthopaedics, hospitals, nursing, physiotherapy or a related medical background is preferred.
  • Knowledge of orthopaedic, trauma and medical device environments is preferred.
