Surgical Technologist - Full Time Days

Salary: $24.29–$36.44 per hour

What you will do

• Assist the surgical team during general and specialty procedures.
• Prepare, maintain, and monitor the sterile field, including draping the surgical site.
• Handle surgical instruments, sharps, supplies, and specimens safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate counts of supplies, sutures, and sponges.
• Communicate accurately with the surgical team and correct breaks in aseptic technique.
• Stock operating rooms, equipment, and supplies, and orient new operating-room staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CST certification from NBSTSA or NCCT.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years of operating-room experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, fine motor skills, and eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to provide on-call coverage and report for duty within 30 minutes or less.
