Registered Nurse - Cardiothoracic Surgery - Full Time

What you will do

• Assess patient needs before, during, and after cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients by scrubbing, gowning, and positioning them on the operating table.
• Operate specialized equipment, including anesthesia machines and ventilators.
• Monitor vital signs during general anesthesia and document administered medications accurately.
• Maintain sterile conditions, patient safety, and operating-room readiness throughout each procedure.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• At least two years of experience as a circulator is required.
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or Compact State Registered Nurse license is required.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation and maintain it throughout employment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• ACLS certification.
