Surgical Technician Certified - Elliot 1-Day Surgery Center - Full Time

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; onsite work in an operating-room and surgery-center environment.

What you will do

• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, holding retractors, and suctioning.
• Sterilize equipment and instruments and maintain operating-room readiness.
• Transport patients to the operating room as needed.
• Monitor patient vital signs under the direction of medical staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Graduate or student of a formal Surgical Technician program, or equivalent education and training through military service.
• Surgical Technician certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• New Hampshire Medical Technician Certification required unless another current New Hampshire state license is held.
• At least two years of experience in a hospital operating room or ambulatory surgery center preferred.
