2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Plastics Manufacturing)

Location: Urbana, Ohio, United States; onsite, 2nd shift, with 5–10% travel.

What you will do

• Direct and supervise production personnel during the second shift.
• Maintain a safe working environment by auditing conditions, addressing unsafe behavior, reporting incidents, and enforcing safety policies.
• Execute production priorities and schedules to meet customer demands and on-time shipment targets.
• Manage plant-floor activities and improve the utilization of materials, labor, and other resources.
• Respond to quality, personnel, parts, and process issues in coordination with plant staff and other departments.
• Facilitate continuous improvement and employee engagement activities while maintaining strong plant-floor visibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a formal leadership position.
• Ability to work onsite in Urbana, Ohio, on the second shift.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment.
• Two years of experience in a union setting, when applicable.
