Production Supervisor (Plastics Manufacturing)

Location: Flora, Illinois, United States; onsite production-floor role

What you will do

• Manage production, quality, safety, employee relations, and resource control on the manufacturing floor.
• Train, direct, assign, and evaluate production employees while maintaining effective workforce utilization.
• Maximize production throughput through efficient use of labor and materials.
• Maintain equipment, ensure proper setup, and prevent downtime through proactive issue resolution.
• Review production reports and correct substandard performance, scrap loss, material usage, and efficiency issues.
• Inspect work areas, investigate accidents and near misses, enforce safety procedures, and communicate production and quality issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 3–5 years of supervision experience required.
• Microsoft Suite proficiency, strong leadership, and SPC knowledge required.
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement efforts.
• Ability to work onsite in Flora, Illinois, with 60–80% of the time spent on the production floor.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of supervision experience in a plastic process facility.
