Compliance Officer, Arizona (Healthcare)

Location: Remote in Arizona; applicants must reside in the state of Arizona

Salary: $134,600–$249,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee compliance functions for the health plan, including policy development and contract deliverables.
• Manage accurate and timely submission of CMS Medicare SNP requirements.
• Act as the senior leadership contact for state compliance meetings, regulators, committees, and seminars.
• Lead Department of Insurance and HHSC audits, including communications and follow-up.
• Conduct internal compliance audits, prepare corrective action plans, and coordinate completion with contract and department managers.
• Oversee compliance for health plan subcontractors, including annual oversight activities and enterprise risk management documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of compliance program management and contract experience with State Medicaid programs, including internal and state audits.
• 5+ years working with healthcare regulatory agencies on compliance and fraud programs.
• 5+ years overseeing implementation of contract requirements.
• Experience managing regulatory communications, audits, corrective action plans, and subcontractor oversight.
• Must reside in Arizona.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of compliance or enterprise risk management experience.
