Senior Contract Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Remote role associated with Chicago, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $55,900–$123,500 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Draft account-specific contract templates, booklet documents, desk-level procedures, and workflow documentation.
• Review non-standard document language requests for accuracy and consistency.
• Submit Department of Insurance regulatory filings.
• Source and review contracts for audit, legal, and compliance requirements.
• Support daily team operations and escalate concerns to management.
• Act as a liaison between staff, management, and key stakeholders while resolving issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of experience in a role requiring independent judgment and initiative.
• At least one year of experience drafting standard or customized contracts or booklet documents independently.
• Microsoft Office and general PC proficiency.
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time in a deadline-driven environment.
• Judgment, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
