Senior Compliance Professional (Healthcare)

Location: Louisville, KY or surrounding states, United States. Remote work is permitted, but office attendance is required at least one day per month and as needed for training or meetings. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00–5:00 Eastern Time. Travel is required approximately once monthly or as business needs dictate.

Salary: $86,300–$118,700 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus incentive.

What you will do

• Ensure compliance with governmental, legal, contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
• Research compliance issues and recommend solutions for contract obligations and day-to-day business needs.
• Maintain relationships with government agencies and coordinate regulator site visits.
• Coordinate corrective action plans and deliver accurate, timely compliance documentation.
• Lead discussions, ask critical questions, and communicate complex issues to internal and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five years of experience in healthcare compliance and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governed by the Department of Insurance and CMS.
• Experience with audits, consolidation, compliance, and applying laws, regulations, and contracts to business solutions.
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to work from Louisville, Kentucky, or a surrounding state and attend the office at least one day per month.

Nice to have

• J.D., graduate degree, or other advanced degree.
• Experience with metrics and reporting.
• Experience communicating with state regulatory agencies.
