Compliance Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; currently not hiring in Hawaii

Salary: $152,000–$176,700 annual base salary; equity offered, with no bonus for this role

What you will do

• Provide compliance advisory support to business stakeholders and Legal.
• Independently conduct compliance investigations and reviews.
• Support compliance audits, monitoring activities, and risk assessments.
• Advance policy governance, development, and program implementation.
• Translate healthcare regulations into practical guidance that balances risk and business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of healthcare compliance experience, including policy development, regulatory interpretation, and program implementation.
• 3+ years conducting or supporting compliance reviews and investigations.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and Legal on compliance concerns and risks.
• Strong concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience interpreting and applying HIPAA, CMS guidance, OIG compliance program guidance, and applicable federal and state healthcare laws.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, Juris Doctor, or equivalent advanced training in healthcare law, compliance, or public health.
• 2+ years of experience in telehealth, privacy, or behavioral health compliance.
• 2+ years conducting compliance audits and risk assessments.
• General healthcare compliance certification.
• Experience with Zendesk, Salesforce, EHR platforms, AI tools, and reporting or data platforms.
