Process Engineer Tech (PCB)

Location: Sterling, Virginia, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents due to ITAR and export-control requirements.

Salary: $43,937–$69,448 per year, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and potential shift premium.

What you will do

• Provide technical support and sustaining engineering in a product manufacturing area.
• Implement equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiency, manufacturing techniques, and product yields.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, conduct engineering tests, and perform failure analysis for engineering and quality teams.
• Collect process-control measurements, maintain data and material-movement reports, and respond to process-control charts.
• Run tests through production lines, support process rescaling evaluations, and inspect products under magnification.
• Update manufacturing documentation and reports while following all safety procedures.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical education and/or relevant certifications.
• Typically 2–4 or more years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required for ITAR access and export-control compliance.
• Technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, fine motor skills, and rapid mental-muscular coordination.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as needed for the role.
