TL;DR
Mold Process Technician (Manufacturing): Setting up, monitoring, and fine-tuning injection molding processes to ensure high-quality production with an accent on decoupled molding techniques and machine process control. Focus on troubleshooting cycle challenges, optimizing material usage, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Location: On-site in Rosemount, Minnesota, United States. Due to ITAR regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals with refugee or asylee status; temporary visa holders are not eligible.
Salary: $30.38–$41 per hour, plus a $3.40 per hour shift differential. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

What you will do
- Set up and start injection molding machines, molds, materials, and UR robots using decoupled and scientific molding practices.
- Develop and apply machine operating parameters for sample and production molds.
- Inspect parts, measure required dimensions, document cycle specifications, and maintain mold records.
- Troubleshoot mold cycling, mold function, cosmetic and dimensional defects, and quality issues.
- Evaluate mold modifications, repairs, new materials, and molding parameters.
- Maintain safe, clean, organized, and efficient production operations.
Requirements
- Two-year technical degree or certification in a related field, or five years of related experience.
- Experience adjusting process parameters for plastic injection molding defects.
- Knowledge of decoupled molding, engineering-grade resins, machine process control, and molding technology.
- Ability to use measuring instruments, computers, calculators, hand tools, and material-handling equipment.
- Ability to read and write in English, perform basic arithmetic, lift or move 50+ pounds, and work safely around machinery and chemicals.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States under ITAR requirements.

- Previous experience in a plastics manufacturing environment, including processing and setups.
