Production Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Winsted, Minnesota, United States; onsite with up to 10% travel

Annual base salary: $58,700–$75,500. Eligible for a performance incentive of 10% of annual base salary.

What you will do

• Support production teams in maintaining smooth manufacturing operations and resolving technical issues.
• Lead or participate in manufacturing process optimization for existing machines, new products, and transferred products.
• Maintain manufacturing master data, including quality control plans, workflows, routings, and machine manuals.
• Support product development, core transfer, investment, and manufacturing capability projects with engineering expertise.
• Conduct time studies, motion studies, process mapping, value stream mapping, and Single Event Analysis to identify losses and implement countermeasures.
• Support training programs, competence development, Kaizen initiatives, Autonomous Teams, and World Class Manufacturing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• 0–1 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment; internships count as experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, tools, Lean Manufacturing, and Agile Manufacturing.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or another CAD tool for designing jigs and fixtures and performing stress analysis.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

• Spanish language skills.
