Core Engineering Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States; at least four days per week at the hirify.global site. Travel may include up to 15% domestic and international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Compensation: $221,591–$270,834, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead the division-wide CMP portfolio, including strategy, prioritization, execution models, and performance KPIs.
• Establish engineering standards for design integrity, product robustness, documentation, configuration management, and lifecycle excellence.
• Partner with business units, product organizations, supply chain teams, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and external engineering partners.
• Manage engineering capabilities covering molding, hardware design, digital components, product support, and related competencies.
• Drive material and process standardization, cost reduction, risk mitigation, continuous improvement, and reduced technology debt.
• Govern engineering documentation, change control, technical resource allocation, and cross-functional project pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 8 years of engineering experience in product development, product engineering, manufacturing, quality, or lifecycle management.
• Experience with hardgoods, molding, hardware design, and/or electronic components.
• At least 4 years of technical leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering programs, suppliers or contract manufacturers, portfolio priorities, KPIs, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Must work on-site in Maplewood, Minnesota, at least four days per week.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience leading large-scale engineering, lifecycle management, quality improvement, productivity, or cost-saving initiatives.
• Experience in regulated, quality-driven, or highly technical manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience establishing engineering standards, governance processes, and portfolio prioritization across multiple products or platforms.
