Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing)

Location: Gainesville, Georgia, United States; on-site manufacturing environment. Second shift: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Inspect finished products, work in process, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies against company standards.
• Check randomly selected samples and verify equipment and process accuracy.
• Use inspection methods to support quality programs and conduct product, process, and layered process audits.
• Report conditions requiring immediate repair and identify deviations from standards.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare reports on inspection results.
• Collect samples for laboratory analysis and recommend corrective measures when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in quality and/or inventory.
• Previous experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong data entry, organization, problem-solving, and independent work skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with Oracle, SAP, or other database systems.
• Ability to use powered hand tools, operate a forklift, test materials or finished products, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
