Quality Control Inspector I – 1st Shift (5 am – 1:30 pm)

Location: On-site work in an air-conditioned and heated manufacturing facility; first shift runs from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Pay range: $21–$24 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Inspect component parts, switches, completed products, and orders before shipment using visual inspection and measuring tools.
• Perform internal process audits, document findings, and report violations of ISO standards.
• Identify non-conforming processes and, after notifying the Supervisor, stop affected processes when necessary.
• Communicate drawing discrepancies to Engineering and support prototype reviews and dimensional analysis.
• Prepare and enter Non-Conformance Reports and Customer Improvement Initiatives, supporting corrective actions for recurring problems.
• Train production personnel and inspection team members in process control and inspection methods.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of material, wiring diagrams, and ladder diagrams.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP experience is desirable.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, a Fluke multimeter, and small hand and power tools.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ideally, 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and ability to meet medium-heavy physical demands, including lifting and continuous standing and walking.
