Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Provide daily quality support for manufacturing operations and investigate quality concerns.
• Investigate customer complaints, warranty issues, and OEM field issues while leading containment and corrective actions.
• Drive root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and structured corrective action methods.
• Maintain quality metrics, analyze performance trends, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Support new product launches, engineering changes, product introductions, part verification, APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plan development.
• Conduct product evaluations, failure analysis, disposition activities, and internal, process, and product audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality reporting tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Elkhart, Indiana and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Management, Distribution, and Customer Service.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP, and product launch processes.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
