Quality Auditor I (Manufacturing)

Location: 181 Random Dr, New London, North Carolina, United States; onsite night-shift role

Salary: $19–$20 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan

What you will do

• Participate in quality sampling procedures and prepare test samples using saws, a drill press, and a planer.
• Assist manufacturing with monitoring and assuring product quality.
• Test product characteristics during and after production, then graph, analyze, record, and report results.
• Communicate audit and test outcomes and advise production and quality management on quality trends.
• Maintain test records, enter results into databases, and support actions that improve quality performance.
• Work scheduled overtime, holidays, and weekends as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic metrology and math skills, with the ability to read and write.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, and experience using computers.
• Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
• Successful completion of the Quality Skills test.

Nice to have

• Industrial manufacturing experience.
• ASQ CQT certification.
