Senior Financial Manager

Location: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Salary: $125,000–$141,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

hirify.global provides financial management support for U.S. Air Force Special Programs within the Cyber & Networks Directorate.

What you will do

• Prepare program budgets, financial reports, funding documents, briefings, and acquisition-related financial materials.
• Perform budget forecasting, variance analysis, program execution reporting, schedule analysis, and earned value management analysis.
• Support financial management across program acquisition lifecycles, from pre-engineering development through sustainment.
• Identify accounting discrepancies, correct posting errors, and maintain financial databases and audit trails.
• Support FIAR-compliant audits, internal control programs, self-assessments, financial metrics, exercises, and ad hoc data requests.
• Advise program offices on funding, budgeting, financial systems, compliance, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the relevant technical or professional discipline, including at least five years supporting the Department of Defense.
• Proficiency with Air Force 65-series instructions, budgetary processes, accounting methods, appropriation types, and Department of Defense fiscal policy controls.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition requirements, contracting types, funding clauses, funds control, governance processes, and financial analysis.
• Must be a U.S. citizen at the time of hiring.
• Must hold and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance at the time of hiring.
• Ability to analyze financial data, formulate and justify requirements, communicate recommendations, organize work, and meet short deadlines.
