Financial Analyst

Location: Home, Virginia. Remote work is allowed 100%, while the qualifications also require a hybrid schedule with at least 2 days per week on-site.

Salary: $92,622.01–$161,051.71 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze program budgets and schedules to support contractual and project requirements.
• Monitor financial performance against plans and identify cost or schedule variances.
• Track labor hours and rates, subcontractor costs, other direct costs, and account activity.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts for management.
• Respond to management requests for financial data and validate timely invoice submission.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 6–8 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of government contract types and contract terms and conditions.
• Knowledge of FAR, DCAA, and CAS compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition rules and regulations.
• Experience forecasting labor, non-labor, and revenue costs.
• Ability to work at least 2 days per week on-site.
