Senior Financial Management Analyst

Location: St Inigoes, Maryland, United States; hybrid schedule with several days per week in the office. Candidates must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of 50 miles.

Salary: $107,300–$155,600 USD annually

What you will do

• Provide senior-level budget execution support, financial documentation, monitoring, and analysis.
• Track and report obligations, commitments, expenditures, financial benchmarks, and program or project status.
• Support reconciliation processes, operating budgets, financial reporting, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Analyze financial and business processes to identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare recommendations and process improvements that increase effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders, program personnel, and financial teams on Navy financial management requirements.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Master’s degree in any discipline and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP).
• Experience with budget execution, financial monitoring, obligations, commitments, expenditures, reconciliation, operating budgets, and financial documentation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable assessments.
• Ability to work effectively with Government stakeholders and program personnel.

Nice to have

• Extensive Navy or Department of Defense financial management experience.
• Experience supporting complex Government programs and organizational financial operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience identifying financial discrepancies and developing corrective actions or process improvements.
