TL;DR
Acquisition Strategy and Documentation Principal (Defense Acquisition/Cybersecurity): Supporting the Cloud One program by developing acquisition strategies, program documentation, RFP materials, plans, schedules, and technical evaluations with an accent on ACAT I acquisition, cyber defense capabilities, and Air Force program management. Focus on analyzing cost and schedule constraints, coordinating multi-stakeholder requirements, reviewing contractor deliverables, and guiding junior and mid-level personnel through complex acquisition activities.

Location: Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts; onsite

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications

What you will do

  • Develop acquisition strategies, plans, schedules, briefings, and supporting documentation for the Cloud One program.
  • Support Acquisition Strategy reviews and the development and review of draft Request for Proposal documents.
  • Research cyber defense products and emerging capabilities used or considered by the Department of Defense, the Air Force, government entities, and commercial organizations.
  • Analyze program cost, schedule, technical requirements, operational plans, capability development, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in proposal evaluations, program management reviews, contractor deliverable tracking, and IMP/IMS reviews.
  • Coordinate with Integrated Product Teams, senior management, multi-MAJCOM stakeholders, program offices, and industry partners.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must hold and be able to maintain a US Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 20 years of program management experience, including 10 years in Air Force acquisition.
  • Experience with ACAT I programs, acquisition strategy development, statutory and regulatory documentation, and RFP documentation.
  • Advanced Air Force program management and acquisition knowledge, including technical requirements, implementation plans, and test plans.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
