Distribution Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Miamisburg, Ohio, USA. Primarily works Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with typically one Saturday at the end of each month and flexibility to support third-shift operations.

What you will do

• Lead approximately 17 direct reports across finished-goods shipping and raw-material warehouse operations.
• Supervise second- and third-shift warehouse activities while adjusting working hours to support operational coverage.
• Conduct safety audits, manage housekeeping and waste processes, oversee PPE and equipment use, and lead 5S initiatives.
• Develop employees through coaching, training, performance reviews, hiring, promotions, merit reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Assign work, plan overtime, track KPIs, maintain quality and deadlines, and remove operational roadblocks.
• Implement inventory-control, operational, and cost-efficiency improvements with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing Operations while managing the department budget.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an applicable associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing or distribution experience, including 2 or more years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of warehouse operations experience, including shipping, warehouse management, and material-handling equipment operation and inspection.
• Demonstrated ability to coach employees, manage performance, delegate work, resolve conflicts, and deliver results on time.
• Experience designing and executing continuous-improvement projects.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Excel, Oracle, and Loftware.
