What you will do

• Develop new banking relationships and service an existing portfolio of small business clients.
• Partner with branches and referral sources to generate business and cross-sell banking products.
• Evaluate credit information and loan requests, recommend loan structures, and manage risk.
• Negotiate with underwriters and clients to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
• Manage approximately 15–40 relationship-managed clients and a loan portfolio of $7.5M–$20M.
• Achieve revenue, loan production, deposit production, call, and product sales targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or at least four years of related sales or banking experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience reading and analyzing financial statements and tax returns.
• Strong credit skills for evaluating loan requests.
• Knowledge of business banking products, including cash management, merchant services, and trade services.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with departmental software.
