Seasonal Professional Development Specialist

Location: US-based; work from a home office with occasional delivery at K-12 district school sites. Workshops may be virtual or onsite, with approximately 10–20% travel.

Salary: $550 per full-day session, $150 per half-day virtual session, or $25 per hour for hourly activities.

What you will do

• Deliver content-specific professional development, training, consulting, and guidance for blended and online learning programs.
• Lead virtual webinars and onsite workshops for teachers and instructional personnel.
• Train educators to integrate digital solutions into curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices.
• Develop and modify individualized student learning paths, classroom assessments, and assessment reports.
• Deliver engaging fee-based presentations for small and large groups.
• Travel to school sites as needed and coordinate delivery around fluctuating seasonal demand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience delivering professional development, training, or consulting services; 5 or more years preferred.
• Current or past teaching certification and experience in an educational environment strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, online meeting platforms, and database software.
• Ability to work from a US home office, travel overnight as needed, maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, and provide a current Fingerprint Clearance Card or proof of application within 7 days of hire.
