Electronic Security Services Installation Superintendent (Electronic Security)

Location: Boydton, Virginia, USA. Regular onsite work at construction and client sites in the local area, with frequent driving and occasional air travel.

What you will do

• Lead complex electronic security installation projects and serve as the primary onsite client contact.
• Coordinate installation superintendents, technicians, lead technicians, subcontractors, project managers, and design engineering teams.
• Review drawings, BOMs, matrices, and site-readiness documentation; identify missing materials, design issues, and scope risks.
• Oversee rack and enclosure builds, panel terminations, device installation, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and system commissioning.
• Maintain project schedules, inventories, milestones, records, RFIs, redlines, and DIV28 quality-control requirements.
• Track labor and safety activities, delegate work, resolve site issues, and make onsite decisions for assigned projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related experience, with the administrative ability to manage daily project requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience with access control, CCTV, intercom systems, device installation, head-end panel wiring, network interfaces, and IP cameras.
• Experience with Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Honeywell, Software House, Bosch, or DMP systems.
• Knowledge of project drawings, BOMs, matrices, SRDs, RFIs, redlines, hazard analyses, and DIV28 specifications.
• Clean driving and criminal records, ability to hold the required local security clearance or registration, and a valid or obtainable passport are required.

Nice to have

• Lenel certification.
• Knowledge of mechanical retrofitting for door frames and gates with electric locking hardware.
