Associate, Operations (Fintech)

Location: Fort Lee, New Jersey, United States; hybrid and onsite work arrangement.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate operational activities for compliance with federal and state laws, bank policies, and payment regulations.
• Review third-party agents, identify business opportunities and risks, and support risk-control plans.
• Monitor, process, control, confirm, and settle daily transactions across multiple banking systems.
• Support reconciliation and operational obligations for ACH, wires, RTP, FedNow, card issuing, and processing.
• Assess critical incidents, communicate impacts, and recommend resolution actions.
• Manage ad hoc projects, technical actions, issue analysis, and delivery against deadlines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in banking, risk, payments, or the credit card industry.
• Experience with card brand rules and regulations related to disputes, compliance, and oversight.
• Working knowledge of traditional banking systems, transaction processing, settlement, ACH, wires, RTP, and FedNow.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment and protect confidential customer and bank information.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-risk merchant verticals and enhanced monitoring of higher-risk merchants.
