What you will do

• Design, program, and implement secure embedded software for specialized equipment controls and hardware integration.
• Develop software across Linux, Azure cloud environments, and real-time operating systems.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, controls, hardware, and applications teams on subsystem and IO pipeline integration.
• Support specifications, design documentation, prototyping, implementation, and unit testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain version control and project tracking workflows using GitHub/Git and Jira.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on embedded software development experience; strong interns and co-op candidates with relevant projects may also be considered.
• Strong software design and programming skills in C or C++.
• Experience programming for multiple platforms, including Linux, RTOS, and cloud/Azure environments.
• Familiarity with GitHub/Git and Jira, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively on-site.
