Engineering Applications & Tools Specialist (AutoCAD)

Location: Concord, California

Salary: $85,300; another listed compensation amount is $124,800.

What you will do

• Support engineering applications and resolve moderate user issues, escalating complex problems when needed.
• Learn to administer ProjectWise and Autodesk vertical applications, including AUD and Plant 3D.
• Analyze and document business processes, information needs, and project requirements.
• Lead and participate in User Acceptance Testing, review test results, and support enhancement deployments.
• Collaborate with LEAN coaches, project managers, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams on operational improvements and solution development.

Requirements

• Intermediate understanding of AutoCAD functionality and best practices.
• Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Business, IT, or Engineering.
• Experience participating in projects of medium complexity.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• Experience deploying technology or systems for utility operations.
• Familiarity with change management and LEAN methodologies.
• Advanced PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized engineering tools.
