Central Development Operations Specialist (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; 100% in-office presence with travel as needed

Salary: $27.50–$33.50 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.

What you will do

• Send scheduled test assignments to field testing teams and monitor test execution.
• Provide triage and remote command support for triggers, emergencies, and tooling issues.
• Read technical test procedures and translate vehicle and tooling observations into actionable operational feedback.
• Help refine command-center workflows for development use cases and provide structured feedback on feature performance.
• Escalate persistent issues and operational blockers with complete documentation and suggested solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects with testing, program management, reliability engineering, and development teams.

Requirements

• Ability to accurately read and execute technical test procedures while monitoring proprietary tooling for extended periods.
• Working knowledge of the self-driving stack and ongoing software and operational changes.
• Valid U.S. driver's license, at least 5 years of driving history, and a clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug and alcohol screenings.
• Flexibility to work day, night, weekend, holiday, and overtime shifts on a 4x10 schedule.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Pittsburgh and travel up to 30%.

Nice to have

• Experience in structured test-procedure or SOP-driven environments.
• Experience in operations, trucking, technology, robotics, or automotive work.
• Command-line interface, G-Suite, Slack documentation, ticketing, or Jira-based triage experience.
• Experience working in collaborative environments.
