Focus on negotiating component prices, supporting RFQs, analyzing large datasets, and improving cost-management processes and tools.

What you will do
- Negotiate and approve product cost quotations from contract manufacturers throughout the product life cycle.
- Identify and drive cost-reduction activities by analyzing quotations and relevant cost drivers.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers to implement negotiated component prices in product quotations.
- Maintain product and component databases and create cost benchmarks for price-reduction activities.
- Support RFQs for new products and advise product development on cost structures and cost drivers.
- Optimize purchasing-cost parameters such as order quantities, demand changes, and delivery terms, while contributing to process and IT-tool improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Economy or Business Administration.
- At least 5 years of supply chain or sourcing experience in international manufacturing companies.
- At least 2 years of business negotiation experience.
- Experience analyzing large amounts of data and excellent MS Office skills.
- Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
- Availability for some international travel.
