Intern - Cybersecurity

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Support cybersecurity initiatives focused on protecting the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of customer and employee data.
• Apply foundational cybersecurity frameworks, concepts, and methodologies to business and technical projects.
• Analyze information technology systems, infrastructure, and operations.
• Prepare presentations and explain technical concepts clearly to business leaders and other stakeholders.
• Use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, bias, ethics, and data protection.
• Work independently and collaboratively on projects while managing internal and external business and technical relationships.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least one semester remaining at the start of the internship.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Basic knowledge of information security, cybersecurity frameworks, information technology systems, infrastructure, and operations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, conceptual, and prioritization skills.
• Immigration-related sponsorship is not provided, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1 support.

Nice to have

• Junior or senior academic classification.
