Senior Manager, GRC Strategy & AI

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid work with in-person attendance at an assigned hirify.global office for a minimum of two days per week

Salary: $142,500–$237,500 annually

What you will do

• Advise the SVP of Global Cyber GRC and translate organizational priorities into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Develop multi-year strategies, annual operating plans, organizational roadmaps, and operating rhythms for the Cyber GRC organization.
• Lead KPI, KRI, risk-reduction, executive dashboard, governance reporting, and board-ready communication development.
• Manage a small team responsible for GRC reporting, performance metrics, data analysis, and executive communications.
• Modernize and automate Cyber GRC processes using artificial intelligence, workflow automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.
• Oversee strategic initiatives, budgets, workforce planning, resource allocation, remediation priorities, and business-outcome tracking.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, compliance, governance, controls, technology risk, audit, or a related field.
• Experience supporting senior executives through strategic planning, governance, executive communications, operational management, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience leading Cyber GRC, cyber risk, compliance, controls assurance, technology risk, or governance programs.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, control effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks, including NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, CIS Controls, FFIEC, PCI DSS, and SOX.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, business administration, information technology, risk management, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Power BI, including executive presentations, dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or a comparable professional certification.
• Experience supporting a CISO-level organization and developing executive operating models and performance frameworks.
• Experience leading large-scale Cyber GRC transformation, modernization, process-improvement, or automation initiatives.
• Experience in financial services, credit reporting, banking, insurance, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or structured process-improvement experience.
