What you will do

• Attend Tier meetings and communicate material status to support production requirements.
• Develop material requirements for assigned commodities using SAP, planned orders, and purchasing data.
• Plan purchase orders and just-in-time materials while managing inventory, freight costs, and inventory-turn goals.
• Coordinate transportation activities and firm releases with required quantities and delivery dates.
• Work with buyers, suppliers, sourcing, manufacturing, and service teams to resolve material issues and support service fill rates.
• Analyze exception reports, initiate corrective changes, and assist with lines-down reporting.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning or similar work required.
• Advanced degree in materials science or a related field strongly preferred.
• Ability to work with multiple suppliers and collaborate professionally with sourcing and manufacturing teams.
• Working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, in West Salem, Ohio.
