Prof Ed Operations Lead (m/f/d) Abiomed EMEA (MedTech)

Location: Remote role associated with Germany, including Aachen, Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, and Stuttgart.

Base pay: €78,300–€135,700 annually.

What you will do

• Build, lead, coach, and develop an operations department supporting Healthcare Solutions and Professional Education events across EMEA.
• Set priorities, allocate capacity, and manage planned, urgent, and last-minute operational requests.
• Standardize event workflows, service levels, escalation paths, planning, intake, prioritization, and reporting.
• Oversee compliance, governance, documentation, audit readiness, budgets, supplier invoices, and operational risk.
• Drive adoption of CVENT and Veeva Vault, monitor KPIs and dashboards, and lead continuous improvement.
• Partner with Professional Education, Healthcare Solutions, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Regulatory, and external providers.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading event operations, professional education operations, or comparable service delivery in a complex, regulated environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams, allocating resources, and increasing organizational capacity.
• Experience standardizing processes, managing budgets and suppliers, and delivering measurable efficiency improvements.
• Strong judgment, communication, cross-functional leadership, and problem-solving skills under competing priorities and urgent conditions.
• Experience with event-management and workflow platforms; CVENT, COLADA, or Veeva Vault experience is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required; German skills are beneficial.
