Electronics Design HW Architect & Strategy (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Define the hardware development strategy for upcoming aircraft programmes.
• Collaborate with the Product Architect to establish comprehensive hardware and software requirements.
• Manage current subcontractors and shape tender strategies for future design partners.
• Support test strategy development and validate equipment designs through simulation and physical testing.
• Provide expert assessments, investigations, and reviews for internal developments, manufacturing lines, and the wider hirify.global design community.

Requirements

• Degree in Chartered Engineering, Electronics Design, or an equivalent technical field.
• Deep knowledge and proven experience in electronics design, equipment architecture, and hardware development processes.
• Strong understanding of EMC, thermal requirements, ABD, and DO-160 regulations.
• Experience with Design for Industrialisation and Design to Cost methodologies.
• Negotiation-level French and English, written and verbal.
