Senior Electronics and System Integration Engineer H/F (Quantum Hardware)

Company

Alice & Bob is developing a universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer based on superconducting Schrödinger cat qubits.

What you will do

• Design and integrate electronics systems for quantum computing setups, including custom PCBs, rack and cryostat assemblies, and implementation tooling.
• Integrate equipment into racks and cryostats, manage instrument cabling, and scale installation architectures.
• Design and run validation tests, analyze results, and troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and control-electronics systems.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with equipment and component suppliers while monitoring instrumentation developments.
• Collaborate with physicists, RF engineers, and mechanical engineers to define hardware architectures and document technical work.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in electronics design and system integration, ideally including PCB design and laboratory instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with analog, RF, and DC electronics; KiCad or Altium; cabling and rack integration; VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Comfortable using Python for tooling, testing, or automation.
• Experience with sourcing, supplier management, technical documentation, and cross-functional communication.
• Proficient English is required; French is a plus.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of digital electronics or GPU integration.
