Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer (f/m) (Aerospace)

hirify.global is launching a new military program within the Military Derivatives department of Air Power.

What you will do

• Analyse and validate metallic parts for fatigue and damage tolerance.
• Assess composite and hybrid structures.
• Write and review stress dossiers, reports, justifications, and test programs and reports.
• Define structural justification approaches and track activity progress with Technical Authorities and Senior Engineers.
• Support manufacturing by assessing non-conformities.
• Coordinate with design engineers, technical experts, civil and military authorities, Airbus engineering teams, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an engineering school, preferably in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in fatigue and damage tolerance.
• Knowledge of Airbus calculation methods and tools.
• Good communication skills, autonomy, adaptability, and the ability to propose new ideas.
• Advanced English and French are required.
• Security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities is required.

Nice to have

• Spanish language skills.
