What you will do
- Manage end-to-end financial close processes across North American entities under IFRS and applicable US GAAP.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, audit schedules, and disclosures.
- Oversee corporate tax, sales and use tax, property tax, statutory filings, audits, and regulatory reporting across the US and Canada.
- Maintain internal controls, reconciliation accuracy, approval workflows, system data integrity, and timely remediation.
- Partner with regional finance, compliance, tax advisors, external auditors, operational teams, and global finance leadership.
Requirements
- CPA or CA qualification.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in accounting or controllership, preferably in a multinational or publicly listed environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, revenue recognition, and North American regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with cross-border or regional finance teams, tax and statutory reporting across the US and Canada, and internal control design and implementation.
- Highly proficient in Excel and ERP systems, with strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
