Branch General Manager (Retail Banking)

What you will do

• Manage and coach bankers with assigned books of business and execute retail strategies for mass affluent households.
• Lead branch sales, customer service, operations, security, risk, and regulatory activities.
• Manage high-value consumer and business customer portfolios, referrals, and relationship-deepening initiatives.
• Drive small business sales, business development, community relationships, and calling programs.
• Use banking technology and digital channels to identify sales and service opportunities.
• Oversee recruitment and hiring to ensure the branch is appropriately staffed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of sales management experience in retail banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Additional background checks and fingerprinting are required under NMLS regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of branch management experience are preferred.
• Knowledge of banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, deposits, customer service, process management, and coaching.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and colleague development skills.
