Lead Fullstack Engineer (Laravel/Vue): Evolving a mature learning management system through hands-on full-stack development, architecture ownership, and delivery of scalable product features with an accent on Laravel, Vue.js, performance, and reliability. Focus on designing system architecture, improving complex long-running systems, mentoring engineers, and guiding technical decisions while remaining close to the code.
Location: Hybrid in Dublin or Shannon, Ireland

What you will do
- Own and evolve the LMS system architecture and technical direction.
- Develop new features and roadmap initiatives hands-on across the Laravel and Vue.js codebase.
- Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Mentor engineers, guide technical decisions, and establish engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, CloudOps, and Engineering teams.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack experience with PHP, Laravel, and modern frontend frameworks, preferably Vue.js.
- Experience working with complex or long-running systems.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, REST APIs, and application design.
- Experience improving performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ability to mentor and guide engineers in a hands-on environment.
- Ability to work in the hybrid Dublin or Shannon, Ireland setup.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience working in smaller or evolving teams.
- Experience with LMS or e-learning platforms.
