Software Engineer (Fullstack)

What you will do

• Build and maintain customer account journeys covering acquisition, onboarding, account management, and protection.
• Design and develop stable, performant software for products serving millions of players.
• Write simple, extensible, well-tested code using appropriate design approaches and best practices.
• Own product and technology areas while developing subject-matter expertise.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, planning, and support-ticket reviews.
• Resolve root causes of complex problems and improve maintainability, performance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, a related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience; 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Experience building distributed, highly scalable, highly available backend systems and APIs with Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms, relational and non-relational databases, messaging queues, and concurrency.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, plus DevOps concepts including Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience contributing to large web applications using React with JavaScript or TypeScript, including design-system libraries.
• Knowledge of testing, release processes, web performance, accessibility, Agile development, and production software best practices.
